Q: Where's my order?
A: We require a bit of processing time before shipping your order. Since each item is handmade the processing time may vary however we do our best to get most orders shipped within 3-5 business days. If we need longer we may reach out to you to let you know.
Q: What happens when my order is placed?
A: We receive your order and then our process begins. It will get folded up, prepped, dyed up, let it set overnight so the dye can bond, then washed, dried, and quality checked the next day. If it turns out similar to the one you purchased, we ship! If not, we redo the entire process and aim for the next day! If you do not request pictures before order is shipped, outcome is subject to the discretion of the Cranky Girl Tie Dye team.
Q: Where are the size charts?
A: The size charts are located in the picture slide show of each product listing. If you are unable to find them or believe they are not where they are supposed to be, please reach out to us via message with the link to the item they are not showing on.
Q: How do I measure for my size?
A: . Simply measure armpit to armpit for the width and from front collar straight down to the hem for the length. When you get these measurements compare them to the size chart we have available in each product listing picture slide show. Our size chart is based off the items being dyed, washed, and dried one time so they account for any initial shrinkage.
Q: What are the washing instructions?
A: Our washing instructions are very flexible. For the initial 2-3 washings, machine wash separately from normal clothing. You may machine wash Cranky Girl Tie Dye items together even during the initial washings. After the initial washings, you are free to wash them in with your normal laundry without a problem. Machine wash in hot or cold water - it does not matter! Dye will remain vibrant! Dry on high heat. If an item has additional special washing instructions, we will add them to the product description and to your order package.
Q: What's the difference between your regular "Made to Order" listings and the items labeled "Premade"?
A: Items labeled "Premade" are items already dyed up and ready to ship. The picture shows the exact one you will be getting, it has a quantity of 1, and it has one size listed in the title. All items not labeled as "Premade" in the title are items made upon order. Since we use liquid dyes, there may be slight variations but the colors and design used will be the same as what was used on the item in the picture. Please be aware that different devices read data differently and that the color viewed on one device may not be the color on another. Double check with us if you are unsure and we can help you out! Orders placed that buyers did not request pictures of before shipping are left up to the discretion of the Cranky Girl Tie Dye team.
Q: How do you ship your items?
A: We currently ship through USPS using flexible mailing envelops or boxes for bigger orders. We do not wrap our items in extra plastic to avoid excess plastic being thrown away so if you'd like us to wrap yours in extra plastic please let us know so we can make a note on your order. Q: What brand do you use?
A: We use a variety of brands however if you click on the item you are interested in, the brand we use on that particular item is in the description.
Q: My order shows delivered but I did not receive it.
A: Please contact us ASAP with the name on the order, order number, and address used on the order. We can then begin the investigation.
Q: I received my order and something is incorrect.
A: Make sure to contact us within three (3) business days after receiving the item otherwise we will be unable to help you. Please provide pictures. We will investigate this and see what can be done. Here's the contact page:
